My family members are planning for any kind of trip? I will invite myself along. Someone, I know is going on vacation overseas? I am going to join them. Because I cannot overlook any opportunity. That’s the basics of being an Opportunistic traveller.
So with the example above, are you like that too? Do you find anything that correlates your behaviour of being an Opportunistic Traveller?
If not, Don’t worry. An opportunistic traveller means that whenever you find an opportunity to travel anywhere, you seeing your present conditions, you never deny. That is what an opportunistic travel means. It doesn’t mean that anytime you see an opportunity you directly went for it. You have to check yourself and the conditions related to it so that it doesn’t harm you in any way. Also, you can’t skip work or an important meeting just because you saw an eye-catching travelling opportunity. That will be just being silly, not a travelling opportunistic person at all!

The police are not always your friends. Sad but true—in a lot of places in the world, even in most of the democratic countries, the services of the police are sold to the highest bidder. Therefore, if you can pay them, they may turn out to be your friend but in other cases, they can be the one with whom you have to be very careful.
You don’t have to be afraid of them, just be aware and attentive. In case you find yourself in any argument or something, take a step back and move on. It’s not your place and can be dangerous. Don’t string anyone along out of guilt—tell them you don’t want their help and move on. If someone is following you, tell them to stop.
To be an opportunistic traveller, say yes to as many opportunities to travel as possible. Whether if someone invites you or if you ask to go or invite yourself. Doing this will definitely help you travel to so many more places than you have ever dreamed of going, and with the people, you care about most!
